New Senior Appointment in Europe

Invensys Rail has appointed former Network Rail director Nick Crossfield as its new Managing Director for its Northern Europe division. He takes the helm of the division in June and succeeds Mark Wild who as been Acting Managing Director since November 2009.

 

Invensys Rail - part of Invensys plc, the global technology group - is playing a significant role in the ongoing modernisation and development of rail networks with its advanced signalling and train control systems in service in Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia from inner-city metro networks to the most advanced high-speed railways in the world.

 

As well as his directorship at Network Rail - where he was responsible for a major refocussing of the organisation?s commercial operations - Mr Crossfield has 16 years' experience in senior positions in a range of international industrial and professional services organisations.
